About the artist- Jenny Romano
_Jenny was born and raised in Australia. Her search for travel and
adventure led her to Canada in the sixties where she met and married her
Canadian born husband. They settled in Southern Ontario where Jenny
taught Primary school and raised her two children. Her doll making
career began upon retirement when she enrolled in a workshop to make a
Polymer clay Santa. From Santas she moved onto realistic figures and
then to character studies. The realm of fantasy has become a new
challenge and Jenny hopes to extend the boundaries in this new phase.
Still searching for travel and adventure she and her husband have
resettled back in her native country where elderly parents commanded her
attention. The Australian influence is seen in all her recent work.
After joining a local wool and craft group and has access to a
delightful source of fiber, her recent works have been in felting
techniques; both needle felting and wet felting.
Come and view her extensive gallery of original creations.
